In November 2001, Tice's Corner Marketplace opened its doors along Chestnut Ridge Road in the Northern New Jersey town of Woodcliff Lake. The lifestyle center, with 20 unique and innovative stores, allows customers to shop with style and ease in a downtown-like atmosphere.
Tice's Corner was built on the former site of the Tice Farm, one of the largest roadside markets in New Jersey and a Bergen County landmark that was famous for its fresh peaches, pumpkin pies and apple cider. Every fall, residents from all over the metropolitan area would make the pilgrimage to Tice Farm to harvest apples and pumpkins and enjoy hayrides through the fields.
The stone house that was home for the Tice family for eight decades still stands in front of Tice's Corner Marketplace and is now the Woodcliff Lake Senior Center. The house was made entirely from stones gathered by hand from the fences that divided pastures.
Tice's Corner proudly displays the apple logo a symbol of our Tice Farm heritage, and we celebrate this legacy every year with a Fall Harvest Festival. Held on the last Saturday in October, the festival features trick-or-treating, entertainment, apple treats and other food and keeps the spirit of Tice's farm alive.
